Brief Biography Christoph N. Kossmann is Member of the Executive Board and Senior Vice President General Secretary at SGG SA. He advises, designs and implements solutions relating to the structuring or the restructuring of the international cross border investments of private equity firms, stock-listed groups as well as SMBs, high net worth individuals and Family Offices, with a focus on the German speaking and CEE countries. Furthermore, he holds various positions as Director of Luxembourg companies, investment funds, including private equity investment vehicles such as SICARs, SIFs and regional holding companies of multi-national groups. He has deep experience in management and finance with a focus on private equity and venture capital. Christoph has been working for SGG SA since 2006. Prior to joining SGG SA, he has worked as an attorney in Berlin (Germany), as a Vice President in the Corporate Engineering department of Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL), as a Member of the Executive Board of EXPERTA Corporate and Trust Services SA and as Director at Sal. Oppenheim International SA. Christoph is member of the Luxembourg chapter of the Socitety of Estate Practitioners (STEP: www.step,org) and also member of the Luxembourg Private Equity Associations’ promotion committee working group (LPEA: www.lpea.lu) as well as active in the Luxembourg International Management Services Association (LIMSA: www.limsa.lu).

Academic background and languages spoken

Christoph studied law at the University of Freiburgrg (D) and Lausanne (CH). He holds a Masters in Law from Universität Freiburg and speaks fluently German, English and French.
